McGrath & Associates has completed construction on the $1.9 million expansion and renovation of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women international headquarters in St. Louis. HKW was the architect. This $3.6 million, 45,000 sf, single story “tilt-up” building was constructed for Sev-Rend Corporation to house its manufacturing facility. The building provides office space, manufacturing facilities and expansion room for the company. SLCH Hematology/Oncology
The Hematology/Oncology Clinic project consisted of a complete renovation within the Oncology department at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The project was immediately adjacent to an active Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic. McGrath implemented intensive infection control procedures and teamed up with Infection Prevention to develop new processes for delivery of materials to/from the site. SLCH Olson Family Garden
Construction of a garden on the 8th floor roof area at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Consisted of installing 3 ft. of soil, rock retaining walls, walkways, steel structures, exterior plastered walls, trees and landscaping. The only architects access to the site was over the main entrance to the hospital. SLCH Procedure Suite
This project included the renovation of existing mixed use space to create a new Procedure Suite at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The renovation created a new Procedure Room, C-Arm storage room, C02 tank storage room, office, and Lower Level Clinical Engineering space.
