Ameren Missouri’s new $1.8 million Bland substation in Owensville, Missouri provided additional capacity for electrical distribution. The 5.5-acre expansion of the 345 kV substation work included 206 deep foundation piers and a new transformer pit.
The rocky project site required substantial earthwork to prepare for construction. All of the excavated rock removed during grading was recycled as bank stabilization.
