McGrath fully coordinated the Design and Construction of a new ~ 10,900 sf cGMP manufacturing suite inside an operational, multi-product drug conjugate facility. The $11 million project was “turn-key”, with McGrath providing design, procurement, and construction of the new flexible multi product suite.
The process involved linking a highly potent compound to antibody in an ADC reactor. The construction involved the build out of a shell space for the new facility with ISO 7 and ISO 8 clean areas. The project has a high level of fit and finish and involved GMP construction techniques. It included purchase and installation of WFI distribution system, autoclave, pure steam generator, drug isolator, fill isolator, CIP system, parts washer and biological safety cabinet. The facility infrastructure included new electrical distribution, chiller, and air handler units.
