This project was part of Amtrak’s Nationwide Mobility First ADA upgrades project. McGrath installed new ADA walkways and ramps at two existing Amtrak stops, La Plata, MO and Poplar Bluff, MO. At all three sites, McGrath installed owner furnished wheel chair lift enclosures. The existing stops were on both Union Pacific and Burlington Northern rail lines. McGrath had to facilitate all workers receiving e-rail safe training and Amtrak training. Coordination of project wide OCIP and multiple contractors at different sites occurred. McGrath facilitated use of flagmen on each jobsite.
