Progress West Hospital NICU

The newborn intensive care unit (NICU) within the Childbirth Center at Progress West Hospital in O’Fallon, Missouri, features eight newborn intensive care beds in a special care nursery with procedure room and baby nursery. Each bed includes state-of-the-art technology in a unique, family-centered layout with accommodations for an overnight guest. Missouri Baptist Dialysis Center

This fast-track design-build project at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis was completed in just six weeks. The project involved moving the hospital’s dialysis center to a new location in the main tower. McGrath installed a reverse osmosis water treatment system for dialysis procedures and oversaw the electrical, mechanical and plumbing portions of the project, which included bead-and-crevice-free fusion-joined PVC piping. The $4.8 million hybrid vascular operating room (OR) at Memorial Hospital Belleville in Belleville, Illinois incorporates advanced surgical, imaging and monitoring technology for cutting-edge, minimally invasive endovascular surgical procedures. McGrath combined two existing operating rooms to create the hybrid OR. We also coordinated with equipment vendors and managed the overall process to install the Siemens Artis Zeego robotic-arm imaging system, Storz monitoring equipment, and ceiling mounted OR equipment, anesthetic gases, monitors, X-ray shields and lights. The new $5.6 million St. Louis Heart and Vascular, developed by the Marcus Organization, is a high-tech ambulatory surgery center and medical office facility on McKelvey Road in Bridgeton, Missouri. McGrath installed a new exterior skin on the existing 21,000-square-foot two-story building, removed roof overhangs and raised the parapet walls to increase the building height.
