The American Subcontractors Association–Midwest Council hosted its 33rd Annual Awards Gala on April 11, 2026, celebrating excellence across the construction industry. The event honors outstanding general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for their commitment to quality, safety, and collaboration.

McGrath & Associates was named the 2026 General Contractor of the Year—marking the company’s 10th win and its second consecutive year receiving the prestigious honor. Since the award’s inception in 1994, McGrath has been nominated an impressive 27 times, underscoring its consistent leadership and performance in the industry. Winners are selected through votes from the subcontracting community, based on key criteria such as bid ethics, project management, safety practices, jobsite conditions, and
scheduling coordination.
